Unit 2 Interactive Notebook

My kids absolutely love their Unit 1 Interactive Notebooks, so I got busy creating one for Unit 2! I tried to keep things similar so there needs to be very little instruction on the "how-to" part of it.

There are 1-3 entries for each lesson that follow the teacher's guide. These activities enhance the curriculum to add engagement. Each activity was selected to hit on an essential learning concept, including:

• Non-Fiction Text Features

• Compare and Contrast

• Parts of Speech

• Weekly Spelling

• Note Taking

• Writing Reflections

CKLA takes a lot of time, so these were designed with simplicity in mind. These are already skills you are teaching in each of the lessons, but it adds a hands-on, more engaging approach so all students are responding.
